GE ran his first marathon in Tupelo on Sunday. He finished in 3 hours 40 minutes and was the first person to finish of his six-person group. He finished 36th overall (out of more than 300 runners) and 11th in his age group. I am very proud of him.

5 a.m. on Saturday came awfully early, but I managed to get up and run 13 1/2 MILES before the heat of the morning came upon us. Twins Tracy and Stacy made it easy to do so with our fearless and encouraging leader Stephanie (not shown). Are my roots really that bad in person?!?!

Wow, congrats to GE! I'm going to have to quit reading your blog, though, bc it just makes me feel so fat and lazy. LOL I know I've said that before, but it's so true!
